New to owning a vtx 1800
Hi guys
I am new to cruisers, if you can indeed label the 1800 power house as that.
I've spent hours researching a sound option for my VTX 1800c (02 model). It currently has a set of cobra retro pipes with shortened qc long cores to suit the retro length.
An understanding I've picked up from different forums is that these baffles/cores have a much quieter but deeper cound than the standard cobra cores.
I have emailed Cobra however there not interested in assisting me with a specific item number as they don't ship to Australia - standard core.
A part number would be greatly appreciated for the standard cores as well as advice on modding the qc cores for a more noise without losing too much back pressure.
Thanks guys

Welcome to the VTXOA!

We have a few Aussies on this board.

Three times going through the perforated tube.

Drill larger holes or knock out one of the blocking devices.

Remove the front block and 2 of 3 re-redirects are out of the flow.
Easiest one to remove and replace.

Thank Hans&feet
I've ordered the baffles am playing the waiting game now.
Without having the baffle in my hand it's difficult to know which block you're referring to. As pictured from left to right? I'm not sure how many blocks there are either.
