It's on the calendar, right between my June rally and my August trip to Yellowstone.

As for the location, a hotel where most of us could stay would be nice, then we can drink in the parking lot or at bars in walking distance. I can't drink and ride.

Caps....sounds like an awesome event.

I am more than willing to offer up some assistance. I grew up in LaCrosse and visit there quite often.

As far as a meeting place the Ramada downtown is only a few blocks from the bars and is easily walkable. They have a nice resturant and banquet rooms if we have enough people show up.

I can also have one of our family friends who writes for a motorcycle magazine plan an awesome ride around the area for us. He planned one out for me and a friend two summers ago and it was really awesome.

Let me know what I can help with.

There is a town up there named Arcadia. They have the coolest park dedicated to war Vets. About 1 hour from La Cross.
Every Vet from Wi. has their name on a memorial from every war.

Great, I see someone beat me to getting the ball rolling. I was up in the La Crosse area over Labor Day and there are alot of really great county roads to traverse. Hwy 33 by Wildcat mountain and Coon Valley were awesome. A good loop to ride would be going along the Mississippi down the Minnesota/Iowa side and come back up through Prairie Du Chien back to La Crosse. Count me in on helping organize the rides..

How are we marketing this? Open to all bikes and are we trying to start an Annual tradition? I say yes to those questions.. The La Crosse area has just as many neat roads and places as anywhere else in the country.
May as well think big from the start. It would help in getting sponsors/advertisers.
