Exclamation In a pinch. Help Appreciated.

Hey all. I tried to install a Madco Camlock last night, and when I tried removing the Kury Iso Grip from the throttle sleeve, it cracked, and ended up in pieces. The sh##ty part is, I'm supposed to leave for a trip on Thursday of next week, so I have to have it no later than Wednesday. Everywhere I call tell me Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest, which is cutting it close. If you know of any sites that will rush an order, or if you have a sleeve laying around, I'll gladly pay the shipping, and then some. The P/N is: 53145-MM8-000. Thanks!

You can use a HD grip with a built in throttle sleeve. There should be directions in the How To section

Why is common sense not so common

Why doesn't P.E.T.A. ever attack a biker

Last resort...get some black RTV silicone, glue it back together and wrap the outside with "saran" wrap. The plastic wrap will peel off after it's cured.

Unfortunately, the dealerships around here just don't stock them for some reason. I've got one on order, but it's going to be cutting it really, really, close on arrival. The old one practically snapped in half, so there's no salvaging it, and no one seems to stock grips with the sleeve already in them, either. I'm gonna try calling dealerships up in Pa tomorrow. I guess it just wasn't my day... a lousy day at work spilled over into my personal time... some days you're the windshield, some days, you're the bug.

I guess I wasn't thinking straight earlier today when I had them order it. I should've done the air freight, and got it Monday. I'll try calling some dealerships tomorrow in Pa, if no luck there, I'll see if I can get the one I ordered for Monday.

Will do. Only reason I didn't in the first place, is because I was about to place the online order with them, and it didn't give me faster shipping options. 5-8 business days wasn't gonna cut it.
