New motorcycle keys

I needed new keys for the 02' 1800 because the last owner did the "radio knob" mod and it was the ONLY key the dealer gave me. I located this Seller on EBay and I had a GREAT transaction. For $29 I gave him the key code of the ignition switch (which had a zero or an "oh"). He verified is was a valid code (with a ZERO) and sent me two new keys via UPS in less than three days.
Honestly, I have no affiliation with him, or them. Just wanted to share another option that makes keys...And you can order them in your underwear.

So now someone you don't know now has your address and a key to your bike. I don't think I'd like that

At some point we need to trust someone! This guy wants to stay in business just like any locksmith in your home town would. I'm willing to trust someone with 99.5% positive feedback since 2002.

I DIDN'T know Ace Hardware would have Motorcycle keys, but I didn't have a key that would fit in the machine unless I broke it out of the knob it's glued in. Catch-22!

Hmm... When I had only one key also, I went back and got a real "Honda" blank (Just because) and paid I think like $15 incl shipping uch: and went to a local lock smith and they didnt charge me anything to cut the new one.

I think we only have 1 ACE hardware here on the other side of town.

Yep, you have MANY more options if you have a key to make the copies from. If not, it's either the dealer or a locksmith who can look up the codes and get the key pattern. And as far as someone who knows your address and has a set of keys..... if any locksmith sees a bike, I guess they could quickly make a key to start it and leave, but I don't think they'd be in business long.
Glad you were able to find something that worked.

Yep it was ace for me too........... After the dealer sold me a blank saying, we don't cut keys, take it to Ace.

So now I have my special key I made, the regular honda key and the one I had ace make me for about $1.

They would know they had the blank if they just looked at your key and their blanks like the guy at this store did.
