I'm on the lookout for a 1300, maybe just something a bit more manageable.

I sure loved my 1300 way back when ....

I spent more than 8 years building this bike up to the perfect touring machine, but its become just a bit more than I'm feeling comfortable with these days.

Sold it to a nice young(er) local couple that had an incident on their Nomad. Now they're chomping on the bit to get back on the road, and they'll be doing it in style.

They'll be showing up here on the site real soon I expect.
Wow! Didn't see that coming. Wish you the best on finding the next one

Took an unusual 200 mile ride this afternoon. Unusual because my wife was riding passenger with me, and she rarely ever gets on the bike nowdays. We couldn't have picked a hotter day for a ride either.

Breaking the tire loose, spinning unexpectedly in second gear is a little unsettling. Just saying...

The 1800 truly is a beast

Had a set of Pirelli MT66 tires put on. They replaced a set of Shinko Tourmaster 320's that performed well.

Phil,

Good luck on your eye surgery and hope all goes well and you are back to double vision quickly. Glad you are getting some saddle time in too.
