I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy.

Curious- which tires did you pick?
I know, I already bought so I should stop shopping. Easily said.
Missed this. Been gone a couple weeks. Metz 880 on front and 888 on rear. Last Metz's gave me 9600 miles which is fine with me so went back with them.

Rode it to work for the first time this year... 2C this morning, 22C coming home.
More importantly, over the past couple weeks I've changed out the steering stem bearings and the decal wobble is taken care of. (Happy Happy!)
Installed my 3 1/2" risers I've had in the cupboard for a couple years. Shoulders will thank me.
Swapped out the cheapie brake pads I installed a couple years ago and replaced them with OEM Honda ones.
WooHoo!! Spring has sprung and the VTX is ready to roll!

All I did was take off the airbox to see how easy it was to the carb to install glens a/f permanent tool when I get it this weekend 😉

Didn't do anything to mine.....still waiting on my new front fork stanchion's to arrive. All this nice weather and mine is sitting in the garage, with no front end.

Took my little bride out for lunch on the VTX. Gorgeous day with temps in the 70s!!!
It was tough to come home to finish the workday. I may have to clock out early

Some of the best rides are spur-of-the-moment, especially when the weather is nice. Then you don't want to stop riding! Those are the best days man. An interesting counter-phenomenon I'm looking to cure is, when you have a "trip" planned for months ahead, and it comes, many times the "structure" takes the fun out of it somehow.
