Hey Q1300r, been waiting for your photo of a silo
Been holding on to this for more than a week, but holding out for something more interesting.

Next mark is city & rural rider friendly.

Your bike & Spring Flowers. Even flowering crops like Canola or Alfalfa if that's happening where you are.
Well, its spring time up here LOL!

Dang, all wildflowers are gone now, spring is in the past, we're in summer mode already.
Though I can't complain, we have kind of a cold summer onset this year, so far it's only 87 today. (hoping it will last a little longer)

This Friday being one of my Friday off of work and the temperature about 20 degrees below normal. I think the temperature was only 80 degrees for a high. I did a little desert ride and met a co-worker for breakfast.

Most of the desert flowers have faded about a month ago but now cactus are blooming. If you look closely at the tops of the Suguaro cacti you can see flowers.

I found on google street view the spot (well I am pretty sure it is the spot) where I took the pictures. Arizona has had one of the wettest winter/spring on record so the desert was very green. Compare the street view to the pictures I was surprised at the difference in the landscape.

Next mark: Your bike and a sign showing the population of city, town, county, state, etc.

I can see how my mark might have been a challenge for you. But, Well Done!
Just a few days after calling the mark, the trees lining the streets of the city here exploded in crab-apple blossoms.
I’d love to see dessert & cactus like that some day.....

Awesome cacti pictures, love 'em!
Chance of rain all week, with TS. Might not be able to get the beast out of the garage. We'll see. Might ride past several city limit signs. I'll be sure to take small roads. Can't really hit the brakes hard, slide to a stop and take a picture on the side of our busy Interstate.

Since I got this one back on 5 February, I road out and got it again with the bike pointed the other way.

In honor of Memorial Day next Monday...If no one has a problem...I'm asking permission to kind of "hijack" the next few marks. Could the next marks, until next week Tuesday, be Military related? Military bases, statues, museums, cemeteries, etc.

The last storm is heading out of Central Texas today so hopefully most riders can get out during the three day memorial weekend, the un-official beginning to Summer.

Next Mark: Your bike at a VFW or American Legion Post.

The fenced area belongs to the local phone company but the tractor and bulldozer are another company's yard.

I hope a Canadian Legion will do.

In keeping with the proposed theme, the next Mark will be a machine of war. A tank, airplane, ship, etc.

Sitting on my VTX making vroom vroom sounds.
