Ok, I will put this one to bed. Original mark did not say it had to be open, if so somebody else can get an open motel. I did drove by 4 or 5 open motels to get a picture of these two. They are on Van Buren St. in Phoenix. In the past Van Buren was known for there hourly motel rates, don't know about these two.

Next Mark: Your bike and a cemetery.

WAIT...WAIT...Wait!...I feel like sharing.

Here's my bike next to "Cementerio De La Merced" in Marfa Texas where a scene from Fandango was filmed.

Then, here's my bike next to an early West Texas Bluebonnet bloom just east of Presidio on FM170. But, to be fair, it was taken three weeks ago.

Out for a little morning ride today. Headed south to Picacho (Pee Ka Cho) Peak State Park. The Park is know for spring wild flowers if the desert gets enough spring moisture. And Arizona has had a very wet spring. There were flowers but I drove by places with more flowers than Picacho. I was hoping to talk my way into the park so snap a pictures but after telling them all I wanted was a picture for a scavenger hunt, they they said that would be $7USD. The Picacho area mark the western most battle of the Civil War.

Found this on youtube:

The pictures with the yard full of flowers is just down the street. Each spring the yard is full of flowers, the the end of March the yard is the typical desert landscaped yard.

Next mark: Your bike with a mural.

The rain stopped yesterday so I got it done. Our iconic mural on the side of the old Coca-Cola bottling plant on Main Street.

Next Mark: I'll keep it easy with all the bad weather in the US...Your bike next to a BBQ place.

Man, I totally spaced out and forgot about the mark. (didn't forget about the hunt)
I've ridden past several BBQ places in the past several days. D'oh! I put hundreds of miles on the bike, rolled over from 9999 to 4 zeroes and still didn't take a picture.

If nobody gets his one soon, I'll try to snatch it before the rainy weekend.

Does it have to say "BBQ" on their sign?

Wasn't specified so I would say no. But if the McDonalds is selling McRibs that's a definite no.

If it doesn't have some version of "BBQ" in the sign, it's JUST a restaurant.

Point taken.

This is one of the best places in northern Illinois. Old building, rustic inside, and peanut shells on the floor.
3 different sauces, mild , medium, hot. They even have green river soda.
Too bad the wheels are off the bike getting new tires.
