This is one of the best places in northern Illinois. Old building, rustic inside, and peanut shells on the floor.
3 different sauces, mild , medium, hot. They even have green river soda.
Too bad the wheels are off the bike getting new tires.
TX BBQ in IL? I cringe. What do they serve, hotdogs with ketchup?
J/K For all I know, it might be the best brisket around. But I am "a little" stuck-up and skeptical since I live in the BBQ state.
I'll probably run out to get some city-people BBQ for lunch at the local tourist trap tomorrow, on our last good riding day probably this month (more cold fronts, storms and rain coming).
