oh, the stories the "BOSS" ordered us to do and/or tell customers...


bikes/cars... I have quit a few jobs... as I will not LIE to a person/customer...


there are a few manuals... calling out the torque specs... New and used... ???? on spark plugs.

the VTX was never designed to compete with a GoldWing...
its a Bar Hopper..
I agree with the hack and butchery, especially in the earlier days when Honda motorcycles came to the U.S. Owners would not bring there bikes to a shop for repairs and maintenance because people where tighter with there money in the old days. Metric wrenches and sockets were harder to come by, not like today available at any auto parts store or corner Walmart, do it yourself owners didn't buy a service manual, tried to work on there bikes with the wrong tools usually adjustable wrenches, phillips screwdrivers and a pliers trying to remove engine screws.
