Shock bushings

Best way to test shock bushings?

It's not the speed....it's that sudden stop.

. bike on its side stand..

look at them.. is the bolt in the middle of the shock EYE...


if not .,, you have your answer.

in case you have NOT downloaded the free service manual from this forum


the round hoop at the top of the shock is called an "EYE"...
just in case you did not know.
in this case.. both top and bottom has eye's...

A few new riders joined up and I saw those cryptic characters and I was wondering if those were "fowl" words.

If you have more than a couple thousand miles on the bushings, just toss 'em and get new ones. CHEAP, easy to change, makes a Yuuuuge difference in the ride!
