Tried A New Product...

https://www.turtlewax.com/our-products/jet-black/

I've been a fan of Mother's & Meguires for years.

This leaves a shine so deep, it seems like you could put your hand into it.
And it did fill in surface scratches.

Due to the tint, you'll want a dedicated applicator.
I don't know how long it'll last. I detail the bike every week, so it'll be hard to tell.

Which product did you use? I wouldn’t mind your evaluation in a week or so, especially the “color magic black” item. I need something to freshen up my paint. Thanks for posting RBS.

The link claims it rejuvenates old black paint.
I can't speak to that, my paint is in good shape.

I can tell you that it does fill in surface scratches.

My Yami is a '14, which I bought as a leftover in '17, so the tank sticker was 3 years old.
I bought a "Sticker Removal" product that didn't work. Trying to scrape the sticker off I scratched the paint.
Once I got the sticker off, I had a clean spot with scratches outlining it.

I applied this product, wiped, and the scratches were gone.

Next week the bike is due for a wash. I'll see what happens after I wash it, and report back.

To Be Honest...

I waxed the bike last night in the garage. When I pulled it out in the sunlight, I could still see the scratches on the tank,
though not as pronounced.

Well. I'd planned on giving it a 2nd coat, but I didn't
Washed the bike, still looks as good as when I put it on.
