Does It Exist?

A Plug & Play LED headlight bulb?

I've been running SilverStars, but they don't last.
I'm looking for a long lasting BRIGHT bulb.

I used this one, basically plug and play, I believe I had to dremmel a fin for the retaining clip to fit.

Then you have the daymakers, also available. Someone is making an adjustable mount for those.

I had one, well still have it in a box somewhere, I replaced it with a Daymaker. The problem with the plug and play LED bulbs is the reflectors in the housing. The bulbs are bright and in the daytime they are easy to see, at night they blind oncoming traffic and the poor person in front of you. I stopped using it after members of my riding club refused to ride in front of me, there was no way to adjust the light to not blind people. Being seen is great, blinding people isn't being seen.

I didn’t have any aiming issues, may depend on the bulb/install

Here is the daymaker bracket, works with 5.75 bulbs

try this cheap alternative

I ordered these 2 years ago. Just plug and play.

Still going strong, and I ride daily. The high beam portion doesn't seem to change much as it just turns on the third LED but so far for $20 it seems to work great for me. I don't do a whole lot of night riding but it is pretty bright.
