Since I claimed the last mark on the 2019 Hunt, I use all my unofficial authority to start for 2020
As always, the point is to encourage us to get out and ride. More importantly, to have fun and we all know those two often go hand in hand.
So for rules:
A mark/tag is named and the first person to take a photo of their bike with that particular category gets to name the next mark/tag and it continues.
No old photos allowed. You must ride to the mark after it has been named and your bike needs to be in the picture. Obviously, you cannot claim your own mark.
Try to make the target something accessible to most riders, so not too obscure.
If a mark is unclaimed for a lengthy amount of time, the last finder can name a new category to keep things moving along. However, I am not going to stipulate any particular amount of time. We're a casual group.
And that's it. Get out and ride! And post pics to encourage others to do the same.
What that said, (Thanks for the verbage GuideDawg). The first mark for 2020, drum roll please is: Your bike with a car/truck/vehicle that has a for sale sign.
I took a ride and did not see "FS" signs in time or it was on the other side of the highway.
70 miles of riding today in cool(60*), windy conditions. 10 miles of grocery run, 10 miles to go back because they overcharged me.
Scale was not programmed for sale price. 10 more miles to go out of my way to get fuel.
I kinda dropped the ball on the 2020 scavenger hunt. Been busy with things and life.
I was hoping to get a mark this week. But mother nature decided against it. Rain all week. Until Sunday. Dangit.
Somebody snatch this one up! Easy mark.
Yeah In the hopes of keeping this moving forward I guess we can Downgrade from state to County Line. I guess I was hoping that there was somebody who lived close to a state boarder that could knock it out easily.
Wow, that was fast... funny, i was in the middle of looking through my pics, i know i have done a train before (a steam train).... so i could go back and get a pic with the the X this time...lol
Then BOOM... fast, that was fast... Congrats, nice pic.
This is not difficult in Phoenix. The downtown east west streets in Phoenix are named after Presidents. I found a street corner that is light with traffic.
Next Mark: Your bike and a Volvo semi truck.
Ride Safe.
