Progressive Shocks

2003 1800 C I'm thinking of changing rear shocks. Are the 440 that much better than the 412 for the money? I changed the front springs last year, big change...If I use the 11" will I have any problems with a 200 tire?

Thanks

It is claimed that if you go more than an inch shorter than stock, just get the 412's. There's not as much travel, really wasting the benefits of the 440's. If stock length or close, 440 much better than the 412's.

I can't tell much of a difference between the 12" standards in either the 440 or 412. I have run both.
Warranty on the 440's is much better though.

I run the 412's 11"HD Progresive springs. I had to trim the fender rails ever so slightly with a dremel. No big deal. The look is worth it. Good luck
