VTX 1800 Stalling while riding

Hey Guys,
so i have been having a ton of issues with my bike the last couple of weeks. Every time i ride my bike at least 5 or 6 times within the span of maybe 20 minutes my bike shuts off on me. I can be riding perfectly fine then all of a sudden you can hear the engine bog down, and i lose power. sometimes i can get it running again if i roll on the throttle and wait for it to kick in. if it doesn't go back to normal, then the fuel injector light comes on and the whole bike shuts off. like i said it can happen about 5 or 6 times within 10 minutes.

in the past i have made sure to redo the grounds on my bike cause i know that is a known issue. but i don't know what else it could be. it is so frustrating and it makes riding not fun....

i need help!

thanks
andrew

Tighten battery cables.

If trip meters reset at starting up it is a very good sign

Don't know if the fuel injection lamp has any other function but it does seem to remain illuminated until the pressure comes up, meaning it's a low fuel pressure indicator. Makes me wonder about the fuel pump and it's power supply. If there is a faulty connection, failing pump or a faulty connection at the fuel cut-off relay, or the relay itself is failing that would sure behave the way you describe. If it were me I'd connect a small pigtail lamp to the brown and green wires under the tank and place the lamp where I could see it while riding. If the lamp flickers or goes out, your fuel pump is loosing power.

could be kickstand switch or emergency stop switch
all boils down to checking each for functionality and adjusting as needed.

Garage
Explain, ADD ONS

Do you have a PCIII, if so, disconnect it, and try, mine went bad, and wouldn't run right, it would start fine, then bog, die, only run on one lung.
I did the ground fixes, found my negative cable to be green all the way from top to bottom. FACTORY CABLE mind you.
Just my input.
