Does anyone know what kind of seat this is?

Still throwing around idea's for a nice, solo seat for my 1800C. Wanted something comfortable for a full day's ride, but not too bulky. Currently throwing the idea of a Saddlemen Solo, or C&C solo around?

Ran across this video on Youtube the other day and kind of liked the look of this seat. It "looks" like a Saddlemen solo, but I'm not 100% sure? If it is....anyone out here riding with one? Impressions?

You'll get a better look at the seat at the :43 second mark....

With all due respect ....get a Ultimate...u will save time and in the long run money...my next door neighbor has a beautiful blue 1800C and loves his Lowrider....good luck

Ps...I did the trial and error thing...Ultimate should have been the first seat I bought....not the last.....

Would love the comfort of the Ultimate seat, but its just too bulky for the low, sleek and minimal look I'm shooting for. There's got to be a happy medium in there somewhere.

I've been considering restuffing a stock "R" seat, to make it work on my C, but I can't seem to find anyone who wants to part with one for under $200. Not gonna spend that kinda cash on a stock seat when I can get into an aftermarket one, starting in the $350 range.

I was looking at that as an option too. So many mixed reviews on the Corbin seats though. Everyone loves the look, but it seems to be a love it, or hate it opinion on them in regards to comfort?

My only issue with the young guns, is that I've made some mods to the rear fender and changed it's height and angle some. To the point where the rear passengers section (if you can call it that) would no longer fit properly.

I have however seen their "solo" version AKA "Hollywood Solo" that has my interest piqued, but I'm not seeing it listed on their website for the "C" model? I've seen vendors sell them and customer pics of them on other C's, but can't seem to find out much info about them beyond that?

Try a Gel Pad. I have been using Ultimate Low-Rider seats on both my 02 and 03 VTX1800R for a combined 60,000 miles. The seats are great, but the 1/2" thick gel pad adds another layer of ass comfort.

03 1800R (purchased in Texas in 2013 with 20,000 miles), Spiegler brake/clutch line kit, custom paint job by BD's Cycles from North Carolina, Mussy 2 into 2 exhaust, PCIII, Hypercharger Pro, Ultimate Lowrider seats, Edge extra large saddlebags, Clearview +4" windshield, Aeromach 6" risers, Uniq Cycle Sounds speakers, lots of Kuryakyn chrome, NC Paladin engine guard, etc. "Always Expect the Unexpected"
