Thank you all for your feedback. I went ahead with the mushroom plug kit. It seems to be working fine so far I'm checking my pressure daily on so far everything is stable. I put on almost a hundred miles since I did it last week and to be honest with you, I can barely see where the patch was.
Now we can put the debate the rest👍
Your feedback and concern for my self-preservation is always appreciated✊

Smurfy, that is the one I have on my bike. It seems to be OK, the only thing I dislike, I have to roll the bike for the monitor to update the readings after the bike has been parked.

I havenít yet had a ride this season.....

It seems to take a few mins to connect with the caps, but I havenít had to move it to get a reading.

This happened last year, was my VTX1300. Picked up half a block from a construction site, in down town San Diego. Shredded the tube, yet held air. No I didn’t ride more than a few blocks. Towed to shop.

I would have just put a new tube in, had it been a nail. It was a bolt, and it punched a plug out of the tire, not going to ride that.

Didn’t have a choice on tire brand as the shop had only a whitewall that size.
