Here is a kit that is $7k, before labor...
http://www.motortrike.com/trikevtx.aspx

There seems to be an abundance of 1300 trikes for a good price. Cheaper than a conversion kit.

They are high dollar like I thought.... looked through them all and yes there were a few under $10k but I have to wonder why so cheap. $7000 would be more cheaper and I know what I have in my bike. I think that the motortrike kit is for 2005 and up so that may not be an option as well. Like Chuck said maybe I should build my own... certainly a consideration.

There was someone that had taken a rear axle with differential, narrowed it and made brackets and bolted/welded the rear axle to the swing arm.
A mod to the driveshaft.

May have been on Facebook several years ago.. 2015 found the two 1800

Copy??

I am going to refine this and redo it in cad.

This is one of the links posted by Chuck.

I have a friend who lost the use of a leg recently.

He sold his HD bagger last year, after riding for over 50 years.

I am thinking of building it so we can go for the occasional ride.

Thank You Mr. Chuck! A good thing to do when not riding.

We appreciate the information and guidance you have provided.

Sharing knowledge is a great thing to do.

I kept an early 70's Mecury Capri rear axle for a long time, it would have been great for a trike rear end.
