Interested in upgrading my signal lights....

Bikes getting a makeover this spring and I'm wanting to clean up the turn signal set up. For starters, plan on converting to LED. Also, the stock amber rears will be changed to red and going a run/turn/brake route, since I won't be running a taillight any longer.

I'm looking for something a little "lower profile" than the oversized lollipops that Honda saddles our bikes with. I get that the larger signals provide better visibility, but there's no way the stock lights put out as much as an LED set up even half their size?

I REALLY like the Kuryakyn by Kellermann Bullet 1000 lights, with their integrated turn signal ring, but I'm not about to spend $109US each on them.

There are about a gazillion offerings for those off shore lights on Ebay that look somewhat attractive at a much more reasonable price point. Do you truly get what you pay for with these lights, or is anyone here running them with success?

I don't have any pics, but that is actually what I put on my bike when we had some straight line winds that blew my bike over and broke the right r/t/b light last year. I'll try to get some. I like them, for being so small they are bright. I think I paid less than a C note each for mine.

remember the 2005 and up. has a digital turn signal controller...you may need converters/adapters/resistors..

the Honda controller has a circuit load detector... and does NOT like LED's....

I learned this in early 2005..... I so dislike front running lights...
a little trickery and a few wire shifts... none in 2 hours.
I was the first to alter/trick this controller.. way back then..

I sure someone came out with a plug an play trick box. by now.
or rewire to analog... and use an LED flasher.

Are you talking about the Kellerman Lights I have in the video above?

Yes sir Forge, the wind blew it off the kick stand and over on the right side. Broke the tail light, bent the foot brake arm, tweaked the HB, damaged the throttle grip, and cracked the mirror.
Here are my pics of the Kellerman bullet lights. The beat up coin is a George Washington Dollar I found at a red light and always have carried with me since

Damn....those are good looking lights. I just wish they weren't so expensive. Do you have them in the front, too?

I still have the OEM lights on the front, I need a good excuse (safety item) to replace them.
