Asking a little help from a 4-month owner of a new-to-me 2005 VTX1800 C1. Bought in MD. in Dec 2018, drove it to York, PA, and shipped to San Diego.
Cheaper to do that, than it was to buy a used one out here. Believe it or not. Everyone wants top buck out here. Everyone thinks they have a prized possession. You know what.....they do and I do now.....

Anyway, there is only minimum customization to this bike.

1. Vance and Hines Bigshots - with no fuel mgmt parts.
2. Kuryakyn Iso-Grips with Stiletto endcaps.

What I am not sure about is the upper pegs, footpegs, shifter peg & brake peg......

The upper pegs with associated bracket.....is it Kuryakyn ? I looked in their catalog......not sure I saw exact same thing ? Similiar, but not exact.......Catalog is for HD's, Indians, & Victory bikes....

The regular footpegs, shifter & rear brake peg........are they standard for this yr and model ? or aftermarket ?

If I procure engine guards, do I have to change out the upper pegs and bracket........seems the bracket is where the guards would bolt on to ......

Thanks in advance.....

Is it a California model? If not, did you have any issues registering it?

Non CA model...only 49 state compliant... I didn't want a CA Model

No problem registering it.....just had to show greater than 7,500 miles on it.......otherwise if less than, it is considered a new bike and has to be CA compliant...with smog equip.....even though there is no annual smog check......idiotic laws in CA here......this state is so screwed up.....

Several years ago, it would have been a nightmare to reg a Federal vehicle in this state. But they were forced to change that. As well as remove the extra transfer “Fee” as well.

Most Fed bikes and cars, get better gas mileage too. Go figure.

Great score on the ride Bilge. As for the question you asked, I don’t have an answer. I think that setup looks cool though.
