You need longer toes!
Some have bolted on small kitchen knobs or universal chrome carb return spring bracket.

Drill the kickstand maybe 1/2" back from the tip that contacts the ground. Use a small bit to start, then work up to either 1/4" or 5/16" x 2" bolt, a bit of Loctite, and a slotted stainless castle nut to dress it a little bit. Thats what I did. Sticks out enough that your heel can catch it easily. The bolt head through the KS only sets the bike up a little more to vertical. A.K.A. the kickstand mod.

All of the links and most of the pics in that thread are dead (which unfortunately seems to be an ongoing theme here since the last crash....all the good threads are gone). There was one that was still working though.

There was no "Crash" of this site that caused links to no longer work. Long before 2018, the VTXOA went from a server and software it had been on since around 2005 to this new server and software. The old links couldn't be saved or transferred easily so most of them in threads just stopped pointing to the correct URL. I spent a good 2 months and hours every day to drag our old How To board and correct every link, to this new board(hence why every thread on the How To board is wrongly attributed to me ). Not from a crash, from upgrades

Photobucket changed from free small accounts to wanting $$$ so I deleted my account.
Many people were using it at one time.
