What could be the reason?

Bike turns over but won't start when on kickstand. It starts when off the kickstand. It starts on kickstand if the engine is warm.

ON kickstand meaning using the Neutral switch.
Does neutral light illuminate?? Is it flickering??

Kickstand has to be UP to do any crank/start in gear.

EMC not getting a good Ground?

My thinking is like Hans, although we really need a little more info line he was hinting at. You have a bank angle, clutch and side stand sensors that all have to work together. Not only that but they all tie into, as well as your entire lighting system and digital dash, the SAME ground. Depending on the exact Yr could be different colors, but I think most were green.
