New wheels

What do I need to know when buying different wheels? ie bolt pattern, axel diameter, etc? Thinking about rear wide tire swingarm for my vtx1800. Found a victory 18x8.5 wheel but I'm concerned about fitment

Cheaper (and easier), if you buy a custom wheel setup made for the VTX1800.
You can make many other wheels to fit, but you need to hire somebody to do it (new wheel hubs, etc.) , unless you have the skills and your own machine shop.
Just the modifications (without the wheel) will cost more, than a custom VTX wheel.

It's not like a car wheel. You MUST buy a wheel specifically designed to fit a Honda VTX 1800. No Victory, no Yamaha, no Harley no BMW wheels will cross fit onto a Honda.

Shaft drive to final drive (ring&pinon) to splined flange to wheel...

A very unique drive train.

$$$$ can buy you the correct parts!

2005 1300c Red, Mustang seat, HK 2.5 straights. Leds for safety-front & back. 193,118 VTX miles
