Observation quick fix to stop scratching paint

Number about to paint my 0 2 1800 I'm doing a whole bunch of work to this bike top to bottom I noticed on my seat rockets the brackets very sharp gets very close to the rear Fender when mounting the seat so I took an angle grinder and got after it I'm gonna panem to keep rusting of course. I noticed on the Fender that over the time piece of metal of hit the Fender quite a few times leaving pretty mad March

If you'll never see it, mask it and clear coat or touch up and call it good. If you want it to look original, pull the fender and repaint it. You can get rattle can color match, just prep and paint the whole thing. Then clear coat. OR, pay someone to have it professionally done.
