Bike started just fine, rode to home depot, started up again then off to last Dr's visit about 15miles total.

Check start switch, very common to have corrosion on the contacts.

Remove the 2 screws on the bottom of the switch housing right hand side of handlebars . take the switch housing apart and clean contacts, should be pretty simple

Kill switch in RUN position?????

You can also bridge the + battery cable to the starter motor at the relay. MUST BE IN NEUTRAL...
It will have a few sparks---a screwdriver, pliers---across the cable connector...

Here it is. Also while you are at it, install a relay for your headlights. The problem with the starter switch is that Honda uses the same switch to kill your headlights and start the VTX. When the headlights are shut off for starting, the contacts arc and burn. After some time the contacts are too corroded to work properly. By installing a relay for your headlights, you will eliminate your starter switch issues. PM me if you need additional help.

The earlier I get behind, the longer I will have to try and catch up.
It doesn't take me all day to get nothing done; I can get nothing done by break time.
