Getting unsightly marks and surface scratches off.

I had some pretty unsightly marks on the side of my gas tank when I first got my bike last year. It felt like no matter how much I would clean and wax it it would simply not go away.
What I did is, I rub some isopropyl alcohol on the location where the marks were and then proceeded to put this rubbing compound on. After a little bit of effort and elbow grease my tank now shine like a mirror!
I also highly recommend this aerosol cleaner called motul shine and go. It smells kind of citrusy like pledge. It's pretty simple just spray on wipe off. You can put it on everything. Paint, leather, and also the windscreen if you have one.

The similar Maguires product does the same. I always have some on hand for small scratches and blemishes. I'll have to look for the Motul product and give it a try. Thanks for sharing.
