Marvels Miracle Oil?

A neighbor of mine, who I know has more experience than myself, has suggested that i use Marvels Miracle Oil. They suggested I run my tank about half empty, put in an appropriate amount of Marvels, run it until it has replaced all fuel in the carb, leave it for about a day, then run the rest of it out. Has anyone used it in this way?

Thanks you all!! You guys have already helped me solve multiple issues. Looking forward to more time here!

No. You want to clean the carb out buy Techron Fuel System Cleaner. Split a bottle over 2 or 3 tank fill-ups and do this once or twice a year. Techron is recommended by Honda and many other vehicle makers, to help clean out fuel systems. Marver Snakey-Oil is not

Also vote for Techron...
Every 4 or 5th or 10th tank I will fill with Chevron ($0.40 Gal more) just to keep fuel system clean..

Marvels Miracle Oil is good for whats it's intent

like cover chrome over the winter... into cylinder for long term storage...
even to replace brake fluid... for very long term storage of a collector vehicle.. but put note on dashboard... what you did.

but for fuel use.. NO. it will burn.. but little else..

my opinion.

The actual name is "Marvel Mystery Oil"

I buy a gallon of diesel fuel and feed all my animals once or twice a year.
8oz to a full tank on the X, a pint or a quart to the cage.

Several times when my VTX mileage dipped into the 30's at the next refill I put in a quart of diesel and filled with gas.
Back to 40's Low 40's.. 30's was 39 or 38... Interstate sucks gas....

About the same as the MMO without the color.

My mileage does vary...
4/7/2019 8:02 PM I purchased 1.136 gals of Diesel.
About 11 minutes later I used my small 16oz peanut butter jar and almost filled it 2/3.. Into the tank it went..

The only marvel is that it’s still being sold.

It's amazing how these things perpetuate over the years. Miracle does everything oil is unlikely to do any one thing really well. That said, the placebo effect is extremely powerful. It's unlikely to damage anything so whatever helps you sleep nights.
