Snatchy clutch

Now the cold weather has hit my clutch is snatchy and likes to make a grinding noise when the bike is cold. By the time I have ridden about a mile and it is warming up it is fine. Does anyone else have this problem? Maybe I need to let it run in the driveway for a while before moving off.

Clutch groan. Sometimes in the cold months I will hold the clutch lever 10 seconds or so to allow oil to get in the clutch.
If I take off quick I have a good chance of hearing it. An easy launch and it never happens.
