Post accident needs

Seeking advice. After an accident I have to replace the following -- headlight/bucket etc., I have found one at a salvage site I think but advice is welcome.
Windshield, it was a 17", unsure of brand -- looking to replace w/ Mem Shades --- biggest question is will I need special mounting (rings) for the fat fork covers??
2 running lights on light bar, bar and turn signals are ok
Brands and places to buy parts are what I am seeking. There are so many parts dealers that seem the same, I could use some help. Thanks - ride safe.

On a 1300R the ms shield mounts(using MS trigger lock system) to the triple tree not the forks...at least mine does...good luck

Thin fat fork cover probably could not support the windshield stress.

Sorry -- I was bumbling around not sure if I was logged in or what. I checked my previous threads and this one wasn't there so I stumbled on - posting away. Peace.

Any vids on the install? All I can find are for bikes w/out fork covers and they go on the forks.
Thanks, SP
