Discoloring of my Cobra exhaust

Does this mean my 04 1300c may be running to lean ? Pipes are pretty new ? I let it idle for about 15-20 the other day to make sure the cooling fan was working properly then noticed one of the pipes appeared to be trying to blue a little bit . So I shut it down . Motor seemed to be running just fine .

Yes. Def. lean condition, the heat is turning the pipes blue. Cobra pipes are wide open, no back pressure. Has your baby been rejetted?

All Cobra pipes come with a baffle.
No baffle = no back pressure = less power.

Which Cobra pipes do you have?

I can't speak to slip-ons, but full systems come with a full length heat shield.
The actual xhaust pipe is under that.

Edit to add
If you have slip-ons, and the actual pipes there mounted to (Coming out of the heads)
are blueing, you're definitly lean.
