04 vtx carb

Recently cleaned carb on my bike and noticed the coolant lines running to it, I assume it has something to do with emissions? Does anyone see anything wrong with plugging the carb where they connect to it and connecting the hoses together?

Welcome to the VTXOA!

In the sunny south you can do it, I would keep it in place if you lived further north.

My 04 had the lines off the carb and inlets plugged when I bought it. I live in Minnesota. I've not had any issues. Although the high 40's is my limit to ride. For me, no issue anyway.
