Will handlebars from a vtx 1300r work on a 1300c without changing the cables and brake lines?

Yes, if you stay with low risers. It will help if you re-route the cables behind the triple tree and re-route the brake hose. Factory cables from the R or S are cheap and not hard to change.

Red '04 1300C, Corbin DT, Hondaline WS and backrest, 1300R bars w/TM risers and Iso grips and Brakeaway, Cobra Slashdowns, Foot's Mod, buffed wheels, Progressive fork springs, PaPa's Down Under bracket ....

I used 4.5" risers & S/R bars & cables...They are 2" longer than the C cables...Cheap & easy to replace.
