Recently I unfortunately had an accident with my VTX 1300 Cand the clutch lever mounting bracket broke where the mirror attaches. I purchased a replacement mounting bracket and clutch handle lever, however, I cannot figure out how to remove the wire that runs into the mounting bracket and controls the turn signals and low beam/high beam lights. I have searched online extensively and even downloaded a VTX service manual and nowhere does it tell you have to safely remove the wire and replace the mounting bracket. Any ideas or suggestion? Thank you,
Gary

Clutch switch has two push on flat style terminals, remove them.
Push on the switch at the terminals and it should come out where the lever belongs.

There is a small dimple stamped into the handlebar on the top side, the mirror bracket clamp gap should go on that dimple.

Parts fiche is a handy tool. Partzilla dot com is my parts search site.
