Very good. He laid it all out there. That would have given me a hernia or something.

I respect everything about our patriotism and especially the flag and the National Anthem. It turns my stomach when anyone singing it acts like they are auditioning for American Idol or The Voice. Sing it the way it was intended or leave it alone.

Well...here's my 1 1/2 cents on that mishmash rendition.

The dude has a great voice, so I'll give him due credit there. I was impressed with his mellow smooth voice, until he got to the "rockets red glare" part, then he went totally apechit epileptic in sound and motion. Absolutely NOTHING patriotic about how he portrayed himself.

I agree with 'rangers4u'...sing our National Anthem with pride, integrity and in the design it was intended to be sung and conveyed. It's not about 'the singer', it's about American Pride and KNOWING what the true meaning of our NA is all about and how it came to be.

Done...

Soz fella! guess being an English bloke I didn't realise that! Meaning absolutely no disrespect (pure curiosity here) what is the true meaning of your NA and how it came to be?
