Never did anything like that but have had some close calls while riding my Valkyrie. While riding up the freeway from Phoenix with two other bikers I was changing lanes at high speed (130+) and overshot the pavement at the center median strip. My front tire was half on and half off the shoulder and I just managed to keep it from the dirt and a very bad off road ride which I would not been able to ride out, certain high side accident if I ran out of luck. I had to quit riding 6 years ago after an accident but do miss the fun.
