Just Plain Bad Luck

McLaren 650S.....
Many of us dream of having a supercar. While this may seem extremely pleasing at first glance, owning such a vehicle also has its drawbacks. Many owners refuse to leave their toys on public streets for fear of finding them damaged or vandalized.
Some like baseball star Trevor Bauer choose the ultimate solution: store their car right in a dealership! Here, protected in an enclosed space and surrounded by brand specialists, the supercar really doesn't risk much. However, the man's peace of mind was shattered when he discovered that his McLaren 650S had been destroyed.
As a result of total coincidence, the tire of a semi-truck travelling on a highway near the dealership crossed the six traffic lanes before destroying the building's window and then landing on the English supercar. Fortunately, no one was hurt because this crazy wheel could even have killed employees there. The car, on the other hand, has become unusable.
As a reminder, the McLaren 650S is equipped with a 3.8L V8 producing 641 hp and 678 Nm of torque. All this power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission. The 650S does 0 to 62 mph in 2.9 s and the top speed is 207 mph.

Agreed. It seems the wall absorbed more energy than the car. We cannot see the damage under the tire but this sure does not look (at first) as a totaled car.
Maybe the guy just wants to sell it and upgrade to something nicer?

Having a car, or anything else, that your not comfortable or afraid to use seems like a terrible waste. That why there is insurance.
