The time has come to sell my X. Got a wicked deal on a Valkyrie Interstate otherwise I'd keep riding the X.
All set up for trips,
Ultimate seats, Matazu RS hard bags, goldwing trunk, all lockable.
Spyker mod, driving lights, 4 in Aeromach risers, MS windshield, SS lowers.
Lots of other mods. All take-offs and extra parts included.
Bike is D/S now, with a Hankook H418. Front tire has less than 1k on an Avon.
She does have 100,459 on the clock, but has been maticuliously maintained.
$2200 as it sits, $2400 with new Avon on back for the non-believers.
Clean title, cash only, no trades. no b/s. Located in central mass.
Bike is Candy Red, trunk painted to match, bags are black.

I just want to ask you about the Matazu RS hard bags... how have they held up?... what is your overall impression of them?

I have been trying to decide which hard bags to buy for my Neo without breaking the bank and have been thinking about these bags.

Thanks

TexG, When i needed bags, they were all I could afford. I used their universal mounting hardware.
They bounced constantly. The right one cracked where it was attatched to the bike. I repaired the crack and made 4 inch wide metal pieces to go on the inside of both bags. I also made a bracket to go from the botton rear of each bag to the rear light mount under the fender, to stiffen them up. No problems with bouncing after that.
Locks are good, lights are good. Now, after 4 years the paint is just starting to crack from baking in the sun by the looks.
For the money and time spent modifying them I like them still. If I had a bigger budget, I'd get better ones.
