Blarney's still exists and yes, you can get there without a boat, you jus have to pay the ferry man! LOL! As far as I know, there is still boat racing going on every thursday. Some real eye candy there!

Another fun "candy store" is the Sundance Saloon in Mundeleine on friday nights. They have their own version of Mardis Gras (complete with beads and ....well...you know what goes along with beads ). The only problem with the place is that they play both kinds of music, country and western, just not my style. But, I will put up with it for an evening every now and then given the "sites" that one sees! LOL!

Forwards 75% complete, but need powdercoating
Fairing Off- needs paint and final rewiring to bike harness
Front wheel off- needs tire
Intake off- waiting on Barons BAK, will do the de-smog in the process, while the tank is still off.

bluto I went by Fatman's a few weeks ago and there were only a handful of bikes gathered there. It was a cool morning but I was out. I was at Joe's for their first Biker Brunch and there were probably about 75 bikes there, not bad for their first shot at it. I think alot of the riders that did goto the Highland House were pretty much fair weather riders. We'll see how things change in the coming weeks as the weather (hopefully) gets batter. There is also the Broken Oar in Cary that is a very popular breakfast joint. In the summer, the boaters (and their scantily clad boat candy) are there in force along with a few hundred bikes.

Sunday mornings??

I am sure that at least some of you are aware that there used to be a restaurant down in Illinois (Highland Park) on RT 41 called Highland House that was a VERY popular place for bikers on sunday mornings. I am curious if anyone has been making any other plans for Sundays? I hear that a place called Joe's in chicago has been making a bid for the business as well as a place that is a little closer called Fatman's. It is on Rt 41 and Rt 21 in Gurnee. It is about an hour and 15 minute ride from my place on the north side of Milwaukee. I would love to know of a place that gets as busy as HH used to. You always knew you could find a group to ride with there if you were looking for a Sunday ride.
