I have a 2002 VTX 2002 c - Fairing, saddlebags, trunk - I weigh 210 and my wife weighs 120. We almost always ride two up. Most of our riding is on curvy roads, hills...but some interstate travel. What would be the best length of shocks for replacement? Any suggestion on brands/models?

I am getting ready to order some new rear shocks for my 2003 honda vtx 1800R. I want the progressive 444 HD and I was thinking of lowering the bike. But the only shock that say fit s my bike is the 12.5". Has anyone installed the 11.5" 444 HD? if so can you post pics and what is the part number...

1300c OEM Shocks in great shape, no major scratches with good chrome: $75 shipped 10,000 miles on these shocks. Still have tons of life left in them. I just put airride on my bike.

The side mount plate is the main thing I need but I am also looking for a set of rear progressive shocks and and a pair of Kury mini bullets to use as rear turn signals. Pm me if you have any of these items. Thanks, Hunter

I just picked up a new set of progressive 412s for $100. The only problem is that they are chrome and I hate chrome. Is there a way to disassemble these shocks to have them powder coated?

I ride a 2005 1300C with Progressive front springs, and the original stock rear shocks set at 3. I ride solo 99.9% of the time, and I'm a pretty laid back rider (speed limit +5-10). Everytime I go over one of those sharp bumps or holes that sends my a$$ in the air, it feels like all the bones...
