I have a 03 Retro and I am going buy;

1) A light bar (but I have memphis shades 21) Any suggestions for the best one to get?

2) A seat, Either a Mustange or and Xtreme. Any suggestions about which one and where to buy it?

3) Vance and Hines big shots. Any suggestions about how to buy them and tips about installation?

4) An engine bar? Any preferences on which one?

I have the Honda light bar w/a Honda windshield on my 03 Retro. Not sure if the bar works w/Memphis shield or not. Can't comment on a seat, mine is still stock. I was looking at the Ultimate LoBoy seat but am concerned about having to install risers and cut my windshield down if I do....plus the Ultimate seats are pretty pricey! I also have V&H Bigshots on my retro and I love them. My middle son installed them by himself in about 2 hours. LOVE THE SOUND!!! On the engine bar, I have on with highway pegs, also HDL. Theres one out there that is great looking that is an engine guard w/a foot rest. There are lots of threads on these topics from those who know more than me. Good luck

MC Enterprises makes two models of crash bars, one for the Retro bikes,
one for the C models. Make sure that you get the model designed for
your model of bike, which I see is a Retro. The reason is that the C model
engine guard has a bar across the top of the radiator, and the Retro
bike has a larger front tire and fender. When the shocks bottom out
from extreme braking, the fender will contact the engine crash bar
and get a crease in it just behind the front forks.
Voice of experience.

So get the Retro model crash bar from MC enterprises,
or the two piece crashbar sold by National Cycle under the name Paladin.
