Gave my 04 C it's first bath of the year today. I noticed that my rear rim is starting to corrode. It's pretty bad in my opinion. I thought it was just dirty, but after washing (and scrubbing the rim with a brush) it was still there. I haven't even had this bike a year. It's never been ridden in the rain or snow and always stored indoors. Is this something that's covered under warranty?? Thanks.

Wheel Rot

I am getting the same problem, front & rear but especially rear. I have come to the uneducated conclusion that it is caused by condensation that I have noticed in the garage. The V-Star next to my X has chrome spokes and they don't seem to be reacting the same way as my rims. I've tried a souple of different wheel cleaners but so far I can't get it off.
