Hey thanks for your help on that other thread, H&F. I thought I'd just bring it over here to ask: does the air vent control valve need to be connected to anything on a desmogged 04 1300R/S?.

If it doesn't then all my problems go away bc I can connect the ACV with the intake manifold and petcock with the 1 t-joint between the heads.

Apologies for being a nuisance. I def should have paid more attention in shop class.

Dragged over from some other thread regarding CA emission hoses.
EVAP removal on CA 1300s
Post #27 has the emissions and pair vacuum layout.

#10 is the vacuum source from intake manifold to PAIR to EVAP control valve
and to ACO.
ACO and petcock need vacuum... ACO has 2 screws on diaphragm.

Fuel tank vent tube hangs in the breeze after removing the EVAP canister.
The upper body has outside air for the on the 49 state with a very short hose.
it allows air into carb body when slide valve goes up--- between step 4 and 5
of Carb 101 next to fuel hose. A tiny spring clip.

Most everything else could be plugged... MY Guess...
