OK, now that Honda has F.I. for the 1300 (think Fury 1300), who is gonna be checking on prices to buy the parts and retrofit to their X?:tools:

Could be interesting. :popcorn:

Id love FI but I think it would be easier to just swap the motor lol

besides the FI you would need the new ECM and any sensors that go with it, and a fuel pump. Also with the different cams in the new motor I dont know if the ECU's map would need any tweaking on the old motor. then again you can always just get the throttle body add the fuel pump and go with a stand alone ECU, and program the fuel maps yourself.

Reliability, good power, easy to fix in the garage with hand tools or on the road.....no extra wiring to be problematic down the road as the miles rack up.....I have what I need.

I'm in agreement with shadango... plus the carb is already paid for :dontknow:

One of the reasons I bought a 1300 instead of a 1800 was the carb.
I've had good luck with carbs on bikes for over 40 years. I see no reason to change till I'm forced.
