Does anyone know why the 1800c hyd clutch is sooo much harder to pull than the 1300c cable clutch? I own both bikes and the 1300 is way easier to pull and hold at lights than the 1800. And I have extremely large hands so hand size is not the factor. Neither is pull length.

I don't know for sure, but a logical guess would be the more powerfull 1800 has a larger clutch with stiffer springs?

I thought they had the same clutch.
May just the same plates, and diff. springs.
