My 1800 C is still running flawlessly, but the stock Honda bags look a little sad. The C is decked out in stock Honda T grab. Always was long before the T model appeared.

I'm thinking of freashing it up with some hard side or Beatle Bags. One of the lower priced , maybe with lights. I'm 72 and I'll have this bike in my estate. So, I would lime more rear lighting.

Tell me your experience mounting aftermarket on a Honda bag frame. If it is just a four hole drill it should be a snap, even for an old cripple like me.

I suggest you go with the Tsukayu VTX specific bags, these are the ones for the C models:

Tsukayu Fairing, Hard Saddlebags and Touring Trunk

I have an R model, and went with their R design in ABS painted Black (my bike is sliver).

It's good to know that you are still riding your VTX. I am also 72 and I still enjoy riding mine. I haven't given my "estate" a thought, but I suppose I should. Only one of my sons rides and at this point, he will get any or all of my bikes.
