How to make and install a load equalizer

This is a write-up for installing on a C model but everything is the same on each model - the load equalizer itself is comparable to the one you buy from Kuryakyn.

Tridon EL-13 flasher will not flash 100% leds and flasher adapter wired incorrectly

I want to thank everyone for their help. It ended up being a combination of things but with the suggestions, clues and tips from the masters of this forum I was able to figure it out in about 30 minutes. First when running 100% LEDs the Tridon EL-13 flasher DOES NOT draw enough amperage to operate the flasher so you end up with nothing. 2nd, the flasher that came with my "Clear Alternatives" Integrated taillight was wired incorrectly for these bikes..... well the supplied wiring adapter was anyways. The wire adapter that came with the flasher was wired to the gray (flasher output) and green (ground). I was able to take the clip apart and move the supplied wires to their proper location (white+green and grey). Then I used the supplied flasher that came with my taillights and it works wonderfully. (White/Green is +12v to flasher)

Starter Relay

Max Power 334019 relay $13.99 at Auto Zone

The other previously suggested and often used lawn tractor relay was "Prime Line solenoid 7-01860-1" from O'Rielly's(possibly Advance). It required splicing of the trigger terminals.

I used this for a while before going to LEDs.
Starter switch only has 100 milliamps current or so.
No more melted plastic issues from high current.

Adding 1800 C/F TS fuses and fuse holder.
The 1800 C/F has an extra 20 amp fuse inline to the FI electronics.
Now called a "FI Ign, Fuel Pump" fuse.
The 3-place fuse holder has the above 20amp fuse plus the 5amp TS fuse and a spare fuse.
3-place fuse holder updated to include the "F".

N/R/S/T has 5amp TS fuse only with a spare 5amp fuse.
