When is the later model 1800 "Secondary ground" going to become a maintenance item????
Read post #7, look at the parts fiche.
Older models have "the secondary ground" on the negative battery cable to frame(battery fiche).
Newer models have the cable shown on the starter to the frame(starter motor fiche).
Go to Bare's site, look at the schematics. You will see the 04 and up show another cable.(Engine> frame)

Ignition coil metal core does NOT need to be grounded.
My 1300C rear coil is mounted to a piece of Honda made plastic below the seat....
The "Common Electronics" ground point happens to be at the front coil---
the wires require the GROUND..

where to look

Can someone point me to each ground that needs attention on an 06 1800 C?
I have previously thought I had done this correctly but after reading through this thread again I may have missed one. Especially that one that looks like it's by the fuel pump in front of the battery. I've looked for this ground a couple of times and can't find it. Is that one even on my 06? If it is, what do I have to remove to find it?
I know model years are different so maybe I'm missing something here. Not having an issue just want to make sure it's done properly.
So which grounds on my 06 need attention and where specifically are they?

And Hans, I can't read a schematic no more than I can read Latin.
