·Does anyone know if the F and C side covers are interchangeable?

I'm assuming you have an F model w/ aftermarket pipes and don't care for the indent on the F model right side cover. If this is the case then yes, you can use a C sidecover to clean things up. Clark4131 shared the part numbers with me (which I don't have right now) You need to buy an '06 C model right sidecover (silver is cheapest) the mounting tab and grommet. The F models are already drilled and tapped for this, very easy mod. Then find painter to match the color. I assume the same would hold true in reverse order if you wanted F sidecovers on your C model, just need different mounting tab and a grommet for the right side.

Big Bike Parts sells a plastichrome plated set of side covers
for the C model which sell for about half of what Honda wants
for two sidecovers.
You might be able to fool some folks into thinking your bike
is a 1300 if you mounted them.
I purchased a set last year at the Americade rally
and only put them on my bike for special occasions.
My bike is a C model with Retro fenders.
