my question is pulling the odometer fuse caused it to go down to like 0.002
can i ride my bike without that fuse until i get time to go throught the ground fix again. and probe the wires going from fuse to odometer etc.

The odometer fuse is for the Tripmeter A and B.
You can leave the fuse out. No Tripmeter or put the fuse in when riding if it
is used for fuel usage.
Check---remove odometer fuse, place your DMM in the amps setting,
place the test leads into the Odometer fuse socket and check current.
It may go high to charge a capacitor and current should drop down when capacitor has charged.
My 05 1300 popped a 5 amp odometer memory fuse once.
Later 1300 had a 10 amp fuse for odometer memory fuse.
High inrush current at fuse install or test measurement.
